Edit the default columns

Configure which fields you want available to be displayed on your list view.

The default list view page contains only one field, which by default, links to an item’s record page. If you want to view any of the data from the custom fields you created, you must manually add the columns you want to be displayed using the settings on the Edit default columns page.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Data management > Objects & fields.

  2. Select the Arcade Games data object from the Objects list.

  3. On the Arcade Games object page, click Edit default columns on the top right-hand of the screen.

  4. From the Add column drop-down menu, select the data you would like to expose to users within the list view. For the purposes of this example, we want to include data from the following fields: Name, ID, Make, Category, Style, Costperday, Image, Web page, and Status.

    You can view how your changes affect the default list view in the Table preview window.

  5. Use the grip icons beside an item to move it up or down in the list, which will change the order in which the columns appear in the List view.

  6. Click Save to save your changes.
